What is VigiPay?

VigiPay is our chosen payment partner that provides seamless and secure payment solutions for BoxCommerce Nigerian online store merchants.

Why BoxCommerce chose VigiPay

VigiPay provides secure, hassle-free payments, making it easier for your customers to complete transactions which leads to higher conversion rates and customer satisfaction, offering access to a variety of payment channels, including card EFT, transfers, payment links, QR codes and USSD collections.

 

What fees are applicable?

When you use VigiPay on your BoxCommerce online store, there are a few fees to keep in mind. First, VigiPay charges a fee of 1.5% per transaction plus VAT.

How and when will you be settled?

The default option is next-business-day (T+1) settlement. Alternatively, merchants can choose to “opt-in” for same-day settlement, which incurs an additional fee of 0.3% to cover the faster payout processing costs. This same-day option can be enabled or disabled at any time.

How to Create Your VigiPay Account?

1.  Sign Up: Click here to create your VigiPay account.

2.  Verification: Follow the VigiPay steps to complete the quick verification process.

3.  Link to BoxCommerce: Once verified, link your VigiPay account to your BoxCommerce store. (see point 

How to access your VigiPay account details:

3.1   Access Settings: Go to the Settings page in your VigiPay merchant portal.

4.  Select Your Payment Method:  During your Quick store setup process, on the Payment options screen, scroll to find the VigiPay option. You’ll see an “Off/On” toggle next to Payments | Powered by VigiPay. Click the toggle to “On” to enable VigiPay.

5.  Complete Your VigiPay Account Details:  After enabling VigiPay, a pop-up box will appear asking for your Username and Password to link your VigiPay account. Fill in your details and tick the acknowledgement box to confirm that BoxCommerce charges 1% on transactions (excluding fees from VigiPay).  Click “CREATE” to link your VigiPay account to your BoxCommerce online store.
