What is the wizard?
The BoxCommerce wizard is our fast, user-friendly online store setup tool that helps you build your online store by completing a ready-made template.
Why use the wizard?
Our set up wizard streamlines your online store set up process, saving you time while ensuring your online store and essential details are customised. This easy method lets you focus on launching your online store efficiently without missing critical elements.
Please note: You can edit your online store’s details at any time.
How to Use the Set Up Store Wizard (Mobile)
1. Sign up: Create your BoxCommerce online store by tapping the "START NOW FOR FREE” button.
2. Sign up and register: Tap "Sign up here” under the “LOG IN" button to get started. You also have the option to sign up via the Facebook, Google and X platforms.
3. Sign up options: Choose the sign up option that suits you best, either “Sign up with email/phone no”, “Sign up with Facebook”, “Sign up with Google” or “Sign up with X”.
3.1 Email sign up: Complete your details, then tap the “SIGN UP” button to create your account.
First name: Enter your first name for this account.
- Last name: Enter your surname for this account.
- Location: Select your country location from the drop-down menu.
- Phone number: Enter a phone number for this account.
- Email: Enter an email address for this account.
- Password: Enter a password for this account.
- Confirm password: Confirm the password.
- Coupon code: If applicable, enter a coupon code.
3.2 Facebook sign up: Log in to your Facebook account to connect to BoxCommerce. Enter your mobile phone number or email address and Facebook password, then tap "Log in."
3.3 Google Sign-up: Select your preferred Google account to continue to sign up with BoxCommerce, or tap "Use another account" to sign in with a different one.
3.4 Twitter sign up: Authorise BoxCommerce to access your X account. Review the permissions, then tap "Sign in" to allow access and proceed with the set up.
4. Congratulations! Welcome to BoxCommerce: Tap the “START” button, and let’s get your online store set up!
6: Online store name: Enter the name of your online store, then tap “NEXT”. (1 of 7)
7. Logo: Upload your logo, or we can create one for you. Or tap "NEXT" to skip this step. (2 of 7)
8. About: Enter a description about your online store, then tap "NEXT” (3 of 7)
9. Store location: Tap on the “Search Google Maps” box to find your location. This is where our delivery team will pick up your products to deliver to your customers. Then click ‘NEXT. (4 of 7)
10. Payment methods: Select your payment method. You can turn on payment methods by toggling the “On/Off” switch or tap "NEXT" to set this up later. (5 of 7)
11. VAT/GST charges: If your business charges VAT/GST, toggle the “No/Yes” switch, then tap “NEXT (6 of 7)
Please note: We do not report your tax status, we simply need these details for invoicing purposes.
12. Link your social media: Link your social media accounts and we'll add these to your website for your customers to view. Then tap the “COMPLETE” button to finish building your online store using the Quick Store Wizard. (7 of 7)
Congratulations your online store is set up! Now you can start adding your products and start selling online.
