What is Hotjar?
Hotjar is an analytics tool designed to help you understand your customers’ behaviour on your online store. It combines analysis tools to track user behaviour, for example where they click and scroll as well as feedback tools to capture customer opinions.

Integrating Hotjar into your BoxCommerce online store helps provide invaluable insights into customer behaviour and preferences. By understanding how visitors navigate and interact with your online store, you can focus on areas that may slow down conversions or create user satisfaction.
How to Set Up Hotjar (Mobile)
1. Navigate: From the home screen, tap “Website”, then tap “Site analytics” to choose the analytics tool of your choice. Toggle the “Hotjar” switch from “Off” to “On” to proceed.
2. Activate: To activate enter your “Hotjar ID”, then tap “CONTINUE” to complete the process.

How to Set Up Hotjar (Desktop)
1. Navigate: From your control panel on the left-hand side, click on “Website”, then click “Site analytics”, then toggle the “Hotjar” switch from “Off” to “On”.
2. Hotjar account: After toggling Hotjar to “On”, a pop up window will ask you to enter your Hotjar ID to activate your account, then click “EDIT HOTJAR” to complete the process.
