What is Your Dashboard?
Your dashboard is your online store's home page. Here, you can monitor your store's performance, view or publish your website and manage your ‘To-do checklist.”
Why is Your Dashboard Important?
Having a snapshot of your store's performance and your to-do checklist is important. Consolidating key information in one place, you can make informed decisions to ensure that you run your store efficiently and effectively.
How to Use Your Dashboard (Mobile)
1. Login: Tap “LOGIN” to your BoxCommerce account, where you’ll be directed to your online store’s dashboard. Or tap “SIGN UP” to create an account.
2. Your dashboard view: This screen shows an overview of your online store’s key metrics, including Open Orders, Total Sales, and Sales by Channel.
3. Set date range: Adjust the data display period by selecting 30, 60, or 90 days, or choose a custom date range for more specific insights into your online store's performance.
4. Open orders: This section displays the total number of orders that are ready to be fulfilled.
Please note: Orders that have been fulfilled and closed are not shown as part of your “Open orders.”
5. Total sales: View the overall sales generated by your store during the selected period.
Please note: The displayed currency reflects the country where your online store is located.
6. Sales by channel: The Sales by Channel graph shows your online store's sales on different platforms, helping you see where your sales are coming from.
7. Tasks and notifications: Access tasks and notifications by tapping the notification bell icon on your dashboard screen. This section lists important actions you need to take to optimise your store functionality and user experience.

Understanding Your Dashboard (Desktop)
1. Your dashboard: After logging in, your dashboard provides a snapshot of your store's key metrics, including Total sales, Open orders, Sales by channel and Best selling products. To the right, you can access your website by clicking "View" or publish it by toggling the "Online" button. You'll also find your "To-do checklist" with recommended tasks and the option to view more tasks. Use the left hand side menu you can navigate your way around your control panel.
2. Date range: You can customise the time period of the data displayed. For example, you can adjust this to 30, 60 or 90 days or a custom date range.
2.1 Change the time period: Click on the dropdown menu in the upper right corner of either the “Total sales”, “Open orders” or the “Sales by channel” section to set a specific date range.
3. Open orders: The “Open orders” section displays the number of orders ready to be fulfilled.
Please note: Orders that have been fulfilled and closed are not shown as part of your “Open orders.” You can navigate to Store>Orders to see all your orders.
4. Total sales: The “Total sales” section displays a summary of customer purchases within the selected time period range, providing a quick snapshot of revenue generated by your online store.

5. Sales by channel: The Sales by channel graph presents your online store's sales data across various channels such as Facebook, Instagram and other communication channels.
6. Best selling products: The Best selling products section displays your top-performing products in your online store based on the number of sales.
7. View your website: To see how your online store looks to your customers, click the blue "View" button located at the top right corner of your dashboard.
8. Publish your website: To make your website live, toggle the "Offline/Online" button. This action will publish your website, making it visible to the public. Ensure this button remains toggled “Online” so that your customers can access your online store and purchase your products.
9. To-do checklist: The red icon on your to-do checklist shows tasks that are required to complete setting up your online store or managing your online business.
10. To-do checklist: The blue thumbs-up icon section highlight recommended tasks that you still need to complete to optimise your online store. You can click on "View more tasks" to explore additional steps you can take to enhance your online store's functionality and success.
