• Upload a logo to your store. (This may be completed in the Wizard)
• Upload a banner image for your store.
• Complete the About Page with your business and product details. (This may be completed in the Wizard)
• Upload and apply a favicon (website icon).
• Select and apply your brand colours.

To qualify for Perfect Products Prize, complete the following:

• Upload a minimum of 5 products to your BoxCommerce online store.
  • Write clear and professional product descriptions for all 5 of your products on your BoxCommerce online store.
  • Ensure all product images have a plain background (no distractions).
    • Each product must include multiple images showing different angles (minimum 5 images).
  • Complete all volumetrics, add pricing, discounts (if there are any), processing time, etc.
  • Set up product variants (Size, colour and/ or material) for at least 3 of your 5 products on your BoxCommerce online store.

• For R1 000-00, be the merchant that posts the most consistently through the BoxCommerce platform over your first 2 weeks of connecting.

Be the merchant with the highest number of individual sales transactions on your BoxCommerce store between 1st April and 31st May 2026 and you could win the Most Sales prize of R2 000.00.

To qualify for entry into the Video Submission Prize, create a video showcasing your completed BoxCommerce store!

• Some suggestions to include in your video: 
  • Why you started your business.
  • Information about your products.
  • How easy it was to set up your online store with BoxCommerce.
  • Why you love using BoxCommerce.
  • Share a customer review or testimonial.
• Post the video as a public post or reel (not a story) to your social media channels.
• Tag @BoxCommerce in the post for verification.

Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1. Organised by BoxCommerce South Africa (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter") and supported by BoxCommerce partners, the Promoter will share prize updates on social media and T&Cs can be found on our website, on our competition page.  
1.2. By participating in this Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("T&Cs"). 
1.3. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or update these T&Cs at any time without prior notice.

2. Competition Period

2.1. The Competition commences on 1st April 2025 and concludes on 31st May 2026 ("Competition Period"). 
2.2. Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.

3. Eligibility

3.1. The Competition is open to 18 years or older and are registered merchants on the BoxCommerce platform. 
3.2. The following persons are not eligible to participate:

3.2.1 Employees, directors, agents, resellers and partners of the Promoter and its affiliates.

3.2.2 Any individual or business found to be in breach of BoxCommerce’s User Policy.

3.3. Each participant must have an active BoxCommerce online store during the Competition Period.

4. General Conditions

4.1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be engaging in fraudulent or dishonest practices, including but not limited to:

4.1.1. Fake transactions or self-purchases to meet entry requirements.

4.1.2 Multiple same store entries by the same business entity. (Although multi-store entries are allowed).

4.2. The Promoter may amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. 
4.3. The Promoter’s decision regarding all matters related to the Competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Data Protection & Privacy

5.1. Participants’ personal information will be processed in accordance with BoxCommerce’s Privacy Policy (accessible at BoxCommerce Privacy Policy). 
5.2. By entering the Competition, participants consent to the collection and processing of their data for the purpose of administering the Competition and awarding prizes. 
5.3. Winners consent to having their name and store featured in promotional material related to the Competition.

6. Liability & Indemnification

6.1. The Promoter, its affiliates, employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage (direct, indirect, or consequential) suffered by any participant as a result of entering the Competition. 
6.2. Participants indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter against any claims arising from participation, acceptance, or use of the prize.

7. Governing Law

7.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
