What are Your Settings?

The Settings page lets you customise key options like measurement units, default dimensions, and guest checkout for your online store.

 

Why Is Viewing or Editing Your Settings Important?

Setting accurate measurement units and dimensions ensures smoother operations in your online store. Proper measurement units prevent confusion and enabling guest checkout can boost sales by making purchases easier for your customers.

How to View or Edit Your Settings

1.  Navigate: Click on “Store” in your control panel on the left-hand side, then click on “Settings” to access and configure your online store settings.

2.  Filter by unit:  To set your preferred measurement unit, select either “Metric” or “Imperial” from the dropdown menu based on your preference for your online store.

3.  Filter by dimension:  Click on the “Default dimension unit” dropdown menu to choose either “Millimetre (mm)”, “Centimetre (cm)”, or “Meter (m)” to apply the preferred unit for your product dimensions.

4.  Filter by weight:  Click on the “Default weight unit” dropdown menu to choose from “Milligram (mg)”, “Gram (g)” or “Kilogram (kg)” as the preferred weight for your products.

5.  Guest checkout:  To enable your customers to checkout without having to create an account for your online store, toggle the “Yes/No” switch next to "Guest checkout" to activate.  Click "UPDATE" to save your settings.

Please note:  By asking your customers to create an account, their details are automatically saved under your “Customer details” section.  Saving customer details allows you to contact your customers if there are delivery or product issues which improves customer service and builds a contactable customer database for marketing campaigns.
