Resetting your password involves verifying your current password and setting a new one that meets BoxCommerce’s security standards.
Why May I Need to Reset My Password?
A strong, updated password protects your account from unauthorised access. Regular password updates enhance your account’s security, keeping your data safe on the BoxCommerce platform.
How to Access My Profile Information & Reset My Password
1. Navigate: From your home screen, tap “Account” to access your profile information, then tap “Profile”, “Login options” or “Notifications” to open your detailed information.
2 Profile information: After tapping “Profile” you can view all your details, such as:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Mobile number
2.1 Updating profile information: You can update your profile information as required, then tap “CONTINUE” to save your updates.
3. Password reset: To change your login password tap “CHANGE LOGIN PASSWORD”
3.1 Change login password: Enter your current password, then type your new password in the “New password” field. Confirm your new password by re-entering it in the “Confirm password" field. Tap “SAVE” to update.
4. Login options: Toggle the “On/off” button next to your preferred login option from the available options (e.g., Email/mobile, Facebook, Google, X) to enable or disable it. Once you've made your selection, your chosen login method will be active for accessing your BoxCommerce online store.
5. Notifications: To manage your notification preferences, tap the green tick button on the types of notifications you'd like to receive from BoxCommerce (e.g., “Alerts”, “Feature updates”, “Reminders + tips” and “Educational emails”). Once you've made your selections, tap “UPDATE” to save your preferences.
