Adding a Product Variant

 

What is a Product Variant?

Product variants are different versions of the same product. For example, a T-shirt with small, medium and large sizes could be a product variant. A product that comes in various colours or size options could also be a product variant.

Why Add Product Variants?

Adding product variants enhances your customers' shopping experience by showcasing multiple options for a single product.

 

How to Add a Product Variant (Mobile)

1: Product variant(s):  Once you have created your product, you’ll be asked, “Does this product have variant(s) i.e. different colours or sizes?  Tap “Yes” to add product variants.  (You can add variants to existing products at a later stage).

2: Adding product variants:  Select the “Variants” tab, enter the “Option name” (e.g., T-shirt), and then add size, colour or value (e.g., small, medium, large), hit enter after each value, then  tap “Save” or tap “Add another option”.

3.  Complete:  Once your product variants are set up, tap “Complete” to finalise the process.

How to Add a Product Variant (Desktop)

Follow these steps to set up product variants.

1: Creating Product Variants:  Once you have created your product, you will be asked “Does this product have variant(s).  Click “Yes” to add product variant(s).  (You can add variants to existing products at a later stage).

Store>Products>New Product

2:  Product options:  Select the “Product variants” tab, enter the “Option name” (e.g., T-shirt), and then add size, colour or value (e.g., small, medium, large), hit enter after each value, then tap “Save” or tap “Add another option”.

3:  Manage:  To manage your product variants, click the “Edit variant” button on the bottom right-hand side.
