What is a social media draft?
A draft social media post is an unfinished or saved version of a post that you plan to share on social media but aren’t ready to publish yet.
Why save a social media post as a draft?
The “Drafts” section on BoxCommerce can be used while preparing your social media posts in case you aren’t quite ready to publish yet, for example, you may need to find a high-quality image to upload, check product pricing or attend to a customer.
How to Save a Social Media Post as a Draft (Mobile)
1. Navigate: To view your saved social media drafts, tap "Marketing" from the home screen, then tap "Social posts". Next, tap on "Drafts" to access your draft posts. Tap on the grey arrow on the right-hand side to view, edit or delete your social media draft.
2. Draft post: After selecting a draft post, tap on the "View post" option to preview it, "Edit post" to make changes, or "Delete post" to remove it. Or you may tap "Cancel" to exit without making any changes.
3. View: This screen will display how your social media post will appear once it is published, providing a preview of the post's content and format.
4. Edit post: After selecting "Edit Post," you can modify the following elements of your social media draft. After making your changes, tap “CONTINUE” to save your edits.
- Post to: Choose the social media account where you want to publish this post.
