Uploading bulk products

Uploading a large inventory of products manually can be a daunting task. Uploading products in bulk makes it efficient for you and cuts the time you would've otherwise needed to upload each product.

Getting Started

• You first need to decide if you want to upload your products via CSV or XLS, if you are migrating from another online store, your file format will most likely be in CSV. 
• Please note that for bulk products, you can only upload a single product image for the products.
• Products are not created with Variants, you would need to go into every product and create the variants. 
• Download the CSV or XLS template - for our bulk import of products to work, you need to use our approved template, which can be downloaded from the Import/Export dropdown inside product page.

• Populate the template downloaded with the product content you want to upload including links to the images.
• Click on Import/Export and upload your CSV or XLS file to trigger the upload.

Uploading your Product Images

For your product images to be uploaded successfully, you need to have them hosted on a separate, publicly accessible domain and insert the URL in the Image URL field as per the below example:

If your images were not previously uploaded onto another CDN, you might need to upload the images on a publicly accessible Google Drive or OneDrive, then copy the link to the individual image relating to your product and paste it in the Image URL field.

Upload fields and definitions.

• Required means that the product will not be created without you having to fill in the field (DO NOT LEAVE THE FIELD AS BLANK).
• Fields that are not required are marked as optional, meaning you can bulk import your products then complete them at a later stage.

Name	This is the name of your Product, advisable to keep it concise, for example "Nike AirForce One", the colours and sizes will be added as variants.	Required
Description	Your product description, this is a rich text editor and you can use shortcuts to bold text and use formatting.	Optional
Stock Status	This field determines the overall stock status of the product, "Available","Coming Soon","Out of Stock","Not Available"	Required
Price	This is the price you will charge for this item excluding tax.	Required
SKU	This is your unique product identifier (Stock Keeping Unit). Each product type will have its own. If you leave this blank, we will auto-generate one for you.	Optional
HS CODE	Used to calculate applicable taxes and duties upon import.	Optional
Inventory	These are the number of products matching the SKU that you currently have in store.	Required
Manage Inventory	This is an indication of whether you want inventory to be managed by the system or not. If you do then write "TRUE" and if you don't then write "FALSE".	Required
Image URL	This is a link to the Product image, Product Images should be a square (1:1 in ratio) that is a minimum of 500 x 500 pixels.	Optional
is Featured	This determines whether the product should be featured (shown before all others on the product page) or not. if you want the product to be featured,  mark this field as "TRUE" and if you do not want to be featured, mark this field as "FALSE"	Required
Enabled	This determines if your product should be visible to customers or hidden. to make the product visible by default, mark this field as "TRUE" and if not, then mark it as "FALSE".	Required
Length	This is the length of the product (in its packaging) being shipping	Required
Width	This is the width of the product (in its packaging) being shipping	Required
Height	This is the height of the product (in its packaging) being shipping	Required
Weight	This is the weight of the product (in its packaging) being shipping	Required
Category	Categories define what group your products will belong to either by type or by brand (e.g. Shoes, Accessories).	Optional
