Adding a Category - Mobile

What is a product category?   

A product category organises the products in your online store by grouping similar products together. Categories make it easier for your customers to find what they're looking for. You can create categories from scratch or define them when adding a product.

Why organising products into categories is important? 

Organising your products into categories helps your customers quickly navigate your online store.

How to add a product category (Mobile)

1.  Navigate:    To access “Manage categories”, navigate to Store, then tap “Manage categories”. 

2.  Manage categories:  Tap the pencil icon next to the category name, and you will be presented with options to "Edit category," "Hide this category," or "Delete category”.

3.  Add new category:  To add a new category, tap the three-dot purple circle at the top right-hand corner.

4.  New category screen:  Tap "Add a new category" from the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen.

5.  Category information:  Fill in the fields for "Category name", "Category description" and set it as a subcategory if applicable. You can also upload a cover image.  Tap “SAVE” to complete.
