What are social analytics?
Social analytics is the process of tracking and analysing data from your social platforms to understand performance, engagement and sales trends.
Why is social analytics important?
This feature within your BoxCommerce dashboard allows you to monitor the performance of your social commerce activities by providing a breakdown of which social media channel your sales are generated from.
How to Monitor Your Social Commerce Performance
1. Navigate: Tap on "Social commerce” from the main menu screen to access the social commerce features, then tap on “Social analytics”.
2. Order channel: “Order channel” displays a graphical overview of your online store sales performance by social media channel. You can analyse this chart by viewing various sales channels by tapping the “>” on a specific channel for more details.
3. Filter by time: Use the date filter drop down menu to select the timeframe for analytics, which includes the following options:
- "All time"
- "30 days"
- "60 days"
- "90 days"
- “Custom date range”
3.1 Analyse by channel: After tapping on the social media channel, you’ll be directed to the “Orders details” page.
