What are customer notes?
Customer notes are internal and visible only to you and your team. Use them to track customer feedback, requests, or issues that may help with orders for specific customers.
Why are customer notes important?
Customer notes help you give customers a personalised service and smooth order handling by recording important details.
For example, you may want to add a note if your customer has specific allergies or preferences when it comes to certain products, has an upcoming birthday or notes to reward regular customers.
How to Manage Customer Notes
1. Navigate: From the control panel on the left-hand side, click on “Customers”, then click the blue “Manage customer” button next to the relevant customer.
2. Customer notes: Scroll down to the “Notes” section in the customer profile. This is where you can see existing notes that document important customer interactions or requests. To create a new customer note enter the “Title” and a “Description”, then click “SAVE NOTE”.
3. Edit existing note: To edit an existing note, click the green “Edit” button. To delete a customer note, click the red “Delete” button to remove.
