What is cancelling an order?
Cancelling an order means removing an order from your order processing queue, ensuring it is no longer scheduled for delivery or collection.
Why cancel an order?
Cancelling an order is typically used when a customer changes their mind or there is an issue with the order details, or the product is unavailable. Having the ability to cancel an order is an essential feature for managing your online store operations efficiently, avoiding potential delivery issues and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Please note: Cancelled orders cannot be reversed. If you need to process the order again, it must be recreated manually.
How to Cancel an Order (Desktop)
1. Navigate: From the control panel on the left-hand side, click “Orders” to view a list of all your orders. Locate the order you wish to cancel and click on the “MANAGE ORDER” button.
2. Cancel order: From the drop down menu, click “Cancel Order” to begin the cancellation process.
3. Confirmation: In the pop-up window, you need to provide a reason for cancelling the order by entering it into the “Cancellation Note” field. This note is for your records and helps maintain accurate updated information. If the items being cancelled need to be returned to your inventory, tick the checkbox labelled “Return these items to your stock.” Once you have completed these details, click on the “YES, CONFIRM”.
4. Order status: The order status will be updated to “Cancelled,” which is also visible on the main orders page.
