Setting up a delivery option (step-by-step guide)

What are BoxCommerce delivery options

BoxCommerce works with multiple shipping partners to ensure that your goods reach your customers as quickly and as easily as possible. We also manage the delivery partner relationships so you do not have to. All you need to do is turn on the toggle next to your preferred delivery option, we will then collect the delivery fee during checkout to pay for the delivery. We offer various delivery options, ranging from motorbikes, pickups/vans as well as trucks. We offer fast premium delivery options as well as slower, more affordable delivery options.

How to set up a delivery option

Step 1: You can access the delivery settings from the main menu on the left, by going to the store menu item and then clicking on the shipping menu item. If you are adding enabling a delivery option for the first time, you can use the To-do checklist and click on the the 'setup delivery methods' option under required tasks.

Step 2: To activate the local delivery option turn on the toggle next to local delivery. Remember to also check your collection point address at the bottom of your screen, this is the address that courier companies will use to collect goods from you to deliver to your customers.

This is typically the address where you keep your stock or the address of your store.

Step 3 (Optional): If you also have a physical store, you can set it up as an in-store pickup point. This only applies if you would like customers to collect their orders from your physical location.
